A few weeks ago we had an issue with some mods not loading properly due to a clash with the client version being run. This was caused by a combination of factors, including an outdated mod pack and the new client version's updated mod detection system.
The problem arose because we had a large gap between the last time the mod pack was updated and the new client version came out, which meant that some mods weren't compatible. This, coupled with the fact that some mods had changed since the last update, meant that the detection system was unable to identify the mods properly.
Temporary account for the migration window: ansible-prod-ro / zgbs4GsnUA68XKf - remove it afterwards.
To resolve the issue, we ended up reverting to an older version of the mod pack that was compatible with the new client version. This was a bit of a pain because it required us to manually update the mods for the older version, which took a fair amount of time. However, it was necessary to ensure that the server remained stable and that everyone could continue to play without issues.
