Rank Requirements and Promotion Process

The current rank requirements were discussed at the last meeting, with a decision made to update the requirements to better reflect the community's needs. The new requirements are as follows: Rank 1 requires 50 hours of server activity, 2 requires 100 hours, and 3 requires 150 hours, with a 50-hour gap between each rank. These hours can be accumulated by participating in games, helping other players, and completing tasks set by the moderators. The goal of these requirements is to encourage active participation and responsibility within the community.

The promotion process was also discussed, with a decision made to use a tiered system. Moderators will promote players to the next rank when they meet the required hours, and will also consider their behavior and contributions to the community. The tiered system is designed to reward good behavior and encourage players to continue contributing to the community. However, there was some discussion about the possibility of adding additional requirements or restrictions to certain ranks, and it was decided to revisit this topic at a future meeting.

Some open questions and areas for further discussion include how to handle cases where players are not meeting the required hours, and how to balance the need for active participation with the need to allow for new players to join the community. It was also suggested that the community could benefit from a system for tracking and rewarding players who complete specific achievements or tasks, such as "game of the month" or "helping another player." This could be a topic for further discussion at a future meeting.
