The minigame rotation meeting was held on Sunday afternoon. All moderators were present, as well as a few community members who are part of the rotation committee. The main topic of discussion was the upcoming minigame schedule, which will be posted on the server's hub page later this week.
The rotation committee has proposed the following minigames for the next two weeks: "Treasure Hunt", "Minecart Madness", and "Tower Defense". These minigames have been popular in the past, and the committee believes they will appeal to a wide range of players. However, there was some discussion about the rotation for the next four weeks, and it was decided to keep the same four minigames, with a slight variation in the rotation order.
One potential issue was raised about "Minecart Madness" being played at the same time as "Tower Defense", which could lead to overcrowding and frustration for some players. It was suggested that the two minigames be staggered by 30 minutes, to prevent this. The committee also discussed the possibility of adding a "Wild Card" minigame that will be played once a week, which can be chosen by the moderators.
The rotation for the next four weeks is as follows: "Treasure Hunt" for weeks 1 and 3, "Minecart Madness" for week 2, "Tower Defense" for week 4, and the Wild Card minigame will be announced when it's time for the rotation. The committee will review the rotation after two weeks and make any necessary changes. Open questions remain regarding how to handle special events, such as holidays or server maintenance, and how to communicate with the community about the rotation schedule.
It was noted that the rotation committee could use more feedback from the community on the proposed minigames and rotation schedule. Suggestions and comments are welcome, and will be shared with the committee. The moderators will work together to implement the rotation schedule and ensure a smooth gaming experience for the community.
