The rules for the Discord server were discussed during the latest moderator meeting. The main goal is to ensure that the server remains a positive and safe space for its members. The current rules include a ban on harassment, flaming, and trolling of any kind, as well as any form of personal attack or bullying. Members are expected to treat each other with respect and kindness, regardless of disagreements or differing opinions.
It was decided that posting explicit or NSFW content is strictly prohibited and will result in a temporary ban. This includes, but is not limited to, images, videos, or text that is obscene, suggestive, or violates community standards. The server will not tolerate racist, sexist, or discriminatory language or behavior. Members are encouraged to use common sense and consider the potential impact of their words and actions on others.
A new rule was added regarding the use of third-party bots and plugins within the server. Members are allowed to use bots and plugins, but they must be explicitly approved by the moderators first. This is to ensure that they do not cause any disruptions or harm to the server. Members are also expected to follow the rules set by these bots and plugins, and to report any issues to the moderators.
One area that needs further clarification is the use of GIFs and memes. While GIFs and memes can be a fun way to express oneself, they can also be easily misinterpreted or offend others. The moderators will review and decide on GIFs and memes on a case-by-case basis, but generally, they should be kept to a minimum and not used to intentionally provoke or annoy others.
There were no major changes or additions to the rules, but it was noted that they should be reviewed and updated periodically to ensure they remain relevant and effective. The moderators will continue to monitor the server and enforce the rules as needed.
