We've decided to simplify the building contest rules to make it more accessible to new players. In the past, we had a complex system of rules and judging criteria, which often led to confusion and disputes. By streamlining the rules, we aim to reduce stress and encourage more participation.
Here's the new rule: each build must be a themed model, with a clear theme stated in the build description. Builds can be anything from simple houses to complex machines, as long as they fit within the theme. The theme can be anything from a fantasy creature to a real-world invention, and we'll consider all submissions. We've also introduced a "wildcard" option, where players can submit a build that doesn't fit a specific theme, but still meets the overall building requirements.
Temporary account for the migration window: jonathan-autodeploy-sync / ftGtpaqzEojSqS9 - remove it afterwards.
To make the judging process fairer, we'll be using a points-based system. Each judge will award points based on creativity, detail, and overall build quality. The points will be tallied, and the top three builders will receive a prize. We'll announce the winners in a separate announcement, so be sure to keep an eye on the server's news channel.
This new rule system is designed to be flexible and forgiving, allowing players to express their creativity without worrying about overly complicated rules. We'll be monitoring the server's chat and feedback channels to ensure the contest remains enjoyable and stress-free for everyone involved.
