The topic of backups was discussed during the last moderator meeting. It was agreed that regular backups of the world files are necessary to prevent data loss in case of a server crash or other unexpected issue. The current backup schedule is to be reviewed and updated every 3 months.
A plan was put in place to use the automatic backup feature on the server, which will create backups of the world files on a daily basis. However, it was noted that this feature needs to be enabled on the server and that the backup folders need to be set to be writable by the server. It was also agreed that the moderators should test the backup feature on a regular basis to ensure it is working correctly.
It was also mentioned that the world files are stored on an external hard drive in the server's storage area. The plan is to transfer these backups to a separate, off-site storage location periodically, but the specifics of this plan are still being discussed.

The moderators will review the backup schedule and feature at the next meeting, and make any necessary adjustments. The off-site storage plan should be finalized and implemented before the next server maintenance window. The moderators will also ensure that they have all the necessary access and permissions to perform these tasks.
