Incident 1: Swearing in the Voice Channel
In late January, a user repeatedly used strong language in the voice channel. The user claimed it was a joke, but the message was loud enough to be picked up by other users. The moderators intervened to remind the user of the rules. Since then, we've added a clarification to the rules regarding vocal content, making it clear that using strong language in the voice channel is not allowed.
In early February, a user shared an image that was deemed to be too mature for the server. The image was removed, but not before a few users had viewed it. We had to intervene to remind users that not all content is suitable for a community server. To prevent this in the future, we've added a new rule regarding image sharing, specifying that all images must be family-friendly.
In late February, a user began sending repetitive messages to the server. The messages were not spamming in the classical sense, but they were still disrupting the server's flow. We had to ask the user to stop sending these messages. Since then, we've added a new rule regarding repetitive messages, stating that users must not send the same message multiple times in a row.
As a result of these incidents, we've made some changes to the rules. We've clarified the rules regarding vocal content and image sharing, and added new rules regarding repetitive messages and spamming. We've also emphasized the importance of using respectful language and following the rules. We'll continue to monitor the server and make adjustments as needed to ensure a positive experience for all users.
