Vote Rewards Review

So, to recap, the main idea behind vote rewards was that players would vote for different game modes and events, and in return, they'd get rewards like extra in-game currency or items. We introduced this system a few months ago to give players more agency over the game, but it ended up being a bit of a mess.

The main problem was that some players were voting repeatedly for the same game mode, just to get the rewards, rather than actually playing the game. This meant that popular game modes were being voted up by a lot of people who never played them, while the actual players who spent a lot of time in the game weren't getting the rewards they deserved. We tried to fix this by adding some restrictions on voting, like limiting the number of votes a player could make in a 24-hour period, but it didn't seem to make a huge difference.

In the end, we decided to scrap the vote rewards system altogether and replace it with a different system. Instead of voting for game modes, players will now earn rewards simply for playing the game. We're trying out a new system where players earn badges and in-game items based on how much time they spend in the game, and we're hoping this will be more fair and motivating for everyone.

We've also decided to limit the number of crates that can be opened per day to prevent people from exploiting the system. Crates are still a fun way for players to get surprises and new items, but we need to make sure they're used in a way that's fair and fun for everyone.
