Appeals are reviewed only after a minimum of 48 hours have passed since the ban was issued, unless the appeal is submitted within 1 hour of the ban and clearly demonstrates a technical error (e.g., mistaken identity, accidental action). Appeals received before the 48-hour window are automatically rejected with a standard message to encourage waiting.
All appeals are submitted through the dedicated in-game form, which logs the submission timestamp, player name, and reason provided. Moderators do not accept appeals via chat, private messages, or external platforms. The form includes a required field for describing the incident in detail, including approximate time, location in the game, and any evidence (e.g., screenshots, server logs) if available.
Moderators review appeals in order of submission date, with priority given to cases involving potential false positives or accidental actions. Each appeal is read by at least two moderators independently. If both agree the ban was incorrect or excessive, the ban is lifted and the player receives a brief explanation. If they disagree, the decision stands and the appeal is closed with a generic reason message.
Appeals that include threatening language, repeated submissions, or attempts to bypass rules are closed immediately without review. Repeated appeals on the same issue are treated as harassment. Players who appeal in good faith and provide clear, truthful information may be allowed to reapply after 7 days, if the original ban was for a minor offense and no further violations occurred.
The system logs all appeals, decisions, and moderator notes. This data is reviewed monthly by the server lead to identify patterns, improve rules clarity, and ensure consistency. Any moderator who makes a decision that is later flagged as inconsistent will undergo a brief review and may be required to retrain.
