You've just joined the Rizzaster community as a moderator, and we welcome you. This guide is to help you get started and familiarize yourself with the server's workings and responsibilities.
First, take a moment to review the community guidelines and rules that we follow. These documents are crucial for maintaining a safe and fun environment for our members. As a moderator, your role is to ensure these guidelines are enforced consistently, so be sure to know them well. Additionally, there’s a training document in the moderator channel that outlines common scenarios and how to handle them. Reading through this will give you a solid foundation for your new responsibilities.
Next, introduce yourself to the existing moderators in the #welcome channel. It’s important to form relationships with them; this will not only make your transition smoother but also help you get support and advice when needed. Also, check the server’s channel permissions to understand which channels you have access to and what actions you can take. This will help you navigate the server more efficiently.
Lastly, keep an eye on the server’s activity, especially during peak times, to get a feel for the community's dynamics. Engage with members in a friendly and professional manner to build trust and ensure everyone feels comfortable.
