Building Contest Rules

The Building Contest has been a staple of Rizzaster's event calendar for a while now, and as such, the rules have been subject to tweaks and modifications to ensure fairness and fun for all participants. The following changes take effect immediately.

Previously, builders were allowed to use any type of material they wanted, with the exception of the special spawn point in the designated build area. This has been adjusted to specify that only Rizzaster-provided materials can be used for the contest, in order to keep things within the scope of the server and to prevent users from exploiting the system. Builders must also use the designated spawn point, as this will help prevent cheating and ensure that all builds are on an equal footing.

One area that has seen significant changes is the judging criteria. After a bit of debate and discussion, the team has decided to broaden the scope of what will be considered for judging. Instead of just focusing on aesthetics, the team will now also be looking at creativity, originality, and overall impact of the build. This should help to encourage more innovative and exciting builds, while still maintaining the focus on visual appeal.

Finally, the team has decided to introduce a new time limit for the contest. Builders will now have exactly one hour to complete their build, with no extensions allowed. This will add an extra layer of pressure and challenge to the contest, and will also help to keep things moving and ensure that all participants have a fair chance to showcase their skills.
