Ban Appeal Procedure

/archive/datapacks/maps/misc/ · last edited 10 Apr 2021 · Moderation

When a player is banned from the server, they may choose to appeal the decision. Ban appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the moderation team, who will assess the player's actions and determine whether the ban was fair and in line with the server's rules.

In general, players who are appealing a ban will need to provide evidence to support their claim, such as screenshots or logs of their actions. The moderation team will then review this evidence and may request additional information from the player if necessary. If the moderation team determines that the player's actions were not in line with the server's rules, the ban will be upheld. However, if the moderation team determines that the player's actions were fair and justified, the ban may be lifted.

Players who have successfully appealed a ban may be subject to additional monitoring and/or warnings before another ban is issued. Moderators will work with the player to establish clear expectations for their behavior and provide guidance on how to avoid similar infractions in the future. It's also important to note that repeated appeals for the same infraction can lead to a ban being upheld, as the moderation team may view the player's actions as an attempt to manipulate the appeals process.

In some cases, a player may choose to leave the server voluntarily after receiving a ban appeal. This is a perfectly acceptable decision, and moderators will respect the player's choice. The goal of the moderation team is to maintain a fair and safe environment for all players, and if a player is found to be consistently breaking the rules, it may be in their best interest to leave the server to avoid further bans.
