The weekly leaderboard resets every Sunday at 6:00 AM server time. This ensures all players start fresh with equal opportunity each week, maintaining fair competition across the community. The reset process automatically clears all accumulated points and ranks from the previous week's standings.
The system runs a background script that checks player progress at the designated time. Any activity that occurred during the final hours of the week is included in the prior week’s totals, but no new progress is counted until after the reset. This maintains continuity and prevents overlap in scoring.
Players will receive a notification in-game at 5:55 AM, confirming the upcoming reset. A second message appears immediately after the reset completes at 6:02 AM, showing the new leaderboard state with all scores set to zero and rankings recalculated from scratch.
Moderators do not manually trigger or interfere with the reset process. If issues are reported, logs are checked for timing discrepancies or server lag, and fixes are applied to ensure consistency. All resets are logged in the admin database for audit purposes.
