The shop on Rizzaster was designed to be a straightforward place where supporters can purchase in-game items and other perks. Initially, we considered implementing a more complex shop system, allowing for multiple tiers of benefits and premium content. However, after taking into account the server's relatively small size and the preferences of our existing supporter group, we decided to keep things simple. By limiting the number of available items and simplifying the pricing, we aimed to make the shop more accessible and easier to use.
This approach also means that we can keep a closer eye on the shop's finances and ensure that the revenue generated is used to benefit the community as a whole. Furthermore, we found that the simpler shop design helped to reduce the number of support requests and complaints from users, allowing our moderators to focus on more pressing issues. The resulting savings in time and resources have been beneficial to the server's overall stability and longevity.
In terms of specific benefits, supporters can expect to receive exclusive in-game items, such as custom avatars, items, and other cosmetic perks. These items will be displayed in a separate section of the shop, clearly labeled as 'Supporter Exclusives.' The shop will also offer a limited selection of premium content, including special events and game modes, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
