Staff Handbook for New Helpers

As a new helper on the Rizzaster community server, you are joining a small but dedicated team of moderators who work together to create a positive and inclusive environment for our users. Our community is built on a foundation of mutual respect, trust, and open communication. We expect all staff members to uphold these values in their interactions with users, moderators, and other staff.

Your main responsibilities will include monitoring the server's chat channels, responding to user queries, and handling conflicts or issues that arise. You will also be expected to participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share knowledge, and stay up-to-date on community news and developments. As a team, we value honesty, transparency, and open communication, and we expect all staff members to be approachable, patient, and fair in their interactions with users.

One of the key things to remember is that our community's rules and guidelines are in place to ensure everyone's safety and well-being. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, and discriminatory behavior, and we take all reports of these incidents seriously. As a staff member, you will be expected to enforce these rules consistently and fairly, and to support other staff members in doing so. We also encourage you to provide feedback and suggestions for improving our community and its operations.

In terms of logistics, you can expect to receive training on our server software and technical systems as needed. You will also be provided with regular updates and support from the rest of the team. As a new helper, you may need to get familiar with some of the quirks and nuances of our community's culture and practices, but we are always happy to help and support you in any way we can.

Finally, we want to emphasize that being a staff member on Rizzaster is a privilege, not a job. We value the time and energy you will be investing in our community, and we ask that you approach your role with enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn and grow with us.
