The world map will reset every 7 days, with a random selection of islands and resources being deleted or moved. This is done to keep the game fresh and prevent players from getting too comfortable with the layout of the world.
Before the reset, all mods will review the list of deleted or moved resources and islands to ensure they are removed correctly. If an island is not supposed to be deleted or moved, it should be manually restored to its original location.
During the reset, all players will lose any items they have on the islands that are deleted or moved. However, they will retain any items they have in their inventory. Mods will set up a temporary storage area where players can retrieve their lost items.
