Minigame Rotation Runbook

The minigame rotation is a key aspect of Rizzaster's daily operations, designed to keep the game fresh and exciting for players. The rotation is updated weekly, with a new set of minigames added or old ones removed. The goal is to ensure a steady stream of new and interesting games for players to enjoy.

Before the rotation takes place, the moderators will review the current game offerings to identify games that are lagging behind or no longer holding interest. They will also check for any technical issues or bugs that need to be addressed. This review process helps ensure that the rotation is fair and beneficial to all players.

On the day of the rotation, the moderators will log in to the server and initiate the rotation process. They will remove the old minigames, update the game list, and add the new games. The rotation should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. The moderators will also spend some time reviewing the new games to ensure they are functional and fun.

During the rotation, the moderators will be available in the #minigame-rotation channel to assist players with any issues or questions they may have. They will also be responsible for monitoring the rotation and making any necessary adjustments as needed.

After the rotation is complete, the moderators will review the results to see what worked well and what didn't. This feedback will help inform future rotation decisions, and ensure that the minigame rotation continues to meet the needs and expectations of the Rizzaster community.
