Chat Safety for Parents

As of 02/15/2023, we've received several inquiries from concerned parents regarding the safety of our community chat. In light of these questions, the moderators have decided to address the topic once and for all.

The primary goal of our chat is to provide a platform for our members to socialize, share ideas, and collaborate on creative projects. We take the safety and well-being of our members very seriously, and we have implemented various measures to ensure a positive and respectful environment. However, we understand that parents may still have concerns, and we'd like to provide some reassurance. Our chat is monitored 24/7 by a team of volunteer moderators who are trained to handle any potentially sensitive or mature content. They are also available to answer questions and concerns from members.

It's worth noting that our chat is not a substitute for parental guidance and discretion. We encourage parents to have open and ongoing conversations with their children about online safety and etiquette. While we strive to create a safe and inclusive space, we also expect our members to respect each other's boundaries and online behavior. This means no sharing of explicit content, no personal or sensitive information, and no harassment or bullying.

One important thing to keep in mind is that we have strict rules in place regarding user information. We do not collect or store personal data, such as addresses or phone numbers, and we do not share any user information with third parties without explicit consent. This is a standard practice for most online platforms and ensures that our members' personal details remain confidential.

In the event of a concern or incident, our moderators will work closely with the affected member and, if necessary, with parental contacts to resolve the issue. We value our relationships with parents and appreciate their trust in our community. By working together, we can create a safe and enjoyable space for all our members.
