I'm going to stick with the current two-times-a-week reset schedule. The reasoning is largely based on historical data and the fact that the server has remained relatively stable since the last major change. The twice-weekly schedule allows us to keep the world map from getting too cluttered and maintain some sense of continuity. Most players are familiar with the resets and know what to expect, which helps maintain a sense of normalcy.
The bi-weekly schedule also gives us a bit more buffer room to adjust the reset parameters and make changes without too much disruption. If we were to go to daily resets, it would put an incredible amount of strain on the server and would likely result in a much less enjoyable experience for players. I've seen what happens when servers have to deal with an excessive volume of resets, and it's not pretty. We want to keep the reset process as smooth and seamless as possible for our players.
I've also considered the impact of the reset on the server's performance. With the current schedule, we can get the necessary cleanup done without having to worry about running low on bandwidth. If we were to increase the frequency of resets, it would put a significant strain on the server's resources, potentially leading to lag and disconnections. By sticking with the bi-weekly schedule, we can ensure that the server remains responsive and that players can continue to enjoy the game without interruption.
