Client Versioning and Mod Pack Strategy

We've decided to continue with the mod pack, as it provides a solid foundation for the server and is easy for new players to navigate. Our testing has shown that the performance is stable enough for our server's hardware, and the mod pack can handle a reasonable number of players. The mod pack is also a good compromise between providing enough content and not overwhelming the server with too many complex features.

The client versioning system allows us to target specific versions of the game client, which can help us test and fix issues more efficiently. By focusing on a single version, we can also reduce the number of potential problems that arise from different versions of the client. We've chosen to target Minecraft 1.18, as it's a stable version with a large community of players, and we've seen minimal issues with it on our server.

The mod pack we're using is a modified version of the 'All the Mods' pack, which provides a wide range of content, including new biomes, items, and gameplay mechanics. We've removed a number of mods that were causing performance issues or crashes on our server, and we've added some mods that are popular among players. The mod pack is currently at version 2.0, and we're planning to release a new version every few months to keep the content fresh and exciting for our players.
