Whitelist Process Review

The whitelist for Rizzaster was re-evaluated in December last year to address issues of accessibility and inclusivity. Prior to this review, the process for gaining access to the server was deemed too restrictive and led to frustration among many potential members. A key incident that highlighted the need for change was the case of a group of new players who were unable to join the server despite meeting all the basic requirements. They reported difficulty navigating the application process and feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information required.

The reasons behind the difficulties were identified as outdated and poorly maintained documentation, as well as a lack of clear communication among the moderators. The process was deemed too complex, with multiple steps and forms that added up to a lengthy and often frustrating experience for new players. As a result, it was decided to simplify the process and make it more user-friendly. Changes were made to the server's application form, including the removal of unnecessary fields and the addition of clearer instructions and a more streamlined interface.

The new process was implemented in January and received positive feedback from new players and existing members alike. The number of successful applications has increased significantly, and the server has become more inclusive and welcoming to new players. The moderators are continuing to monitor the process and make adjustments as needed to ensure that the server remains accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
