1. Daily Backup Procedure

The world file backup is an essential task to ensure the continued stability and security of the Rizzaster server. As a volunteer moderator, it is your responsibility to perform a daily backup of the world files.

Before initiating the backup process, ensure that the server is in a stable state. Check the server logs for any errors or warnings that may indicate a problem. Also, verify that all necessary files, including player data and game settings, are intact.

The backup script can be found in the scripts directory. Run the script using the cron job set up in the server configuration. The script will automatically backup the world files to a designated directory. If the backup fails for any reason, the script will email a notification to the moderators.

In the event of a catastrophic failure or manual intervention, a manual backup of the world file can be performed. This should only be done as a last resort and requires expertise in server configuration and file management. Ensure all necessary files are backed up and the backup script is restarted.
