A new moderator will be joining the Rizzaster team in the coming days. To ensure they have a smooth transition and can start contributing to the community as soon as possible, we've put together this FAQ guide.

Q: Why do I need to be a moderator on Rizzaster, anyway? Can't I just be a regular player?

A: Moderators are responsible for helping to enforce the server's rules and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all players. While you can certainly play on the server without being a moderator, this role is essential to the continued operation of the community.

Q: What are my main responsibilities as a moderator? Can I just focus on having fun?

A: As a moderator, your primary tasks will include monitoring chat channels for violations of the rules, dealing with reported incidents, and assisting players with any issues they may be having. You'll also be expected to stay up-to-date on any changes to the server's rules or policies. This may require some extra effort on your part, but it's essential to maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for everyone.

Q: How will I get trained on what to do as a moderator, and what support can I expect from the other moderators?

A: New moderators will attend a mandatory training session where they'll learn about the server's rules, policies, and procedures. This session will cover everything from basic moderation tasks to more advanced topics like handling sensitive situations and dealing with difficult players. After the training, you'll be paired with an experienced moderator who will show you the ropes and answer any questions you may have. The team is also available for one-on-one support, so don't hesitate to reach out if you need help with anything.

Q: What are some red flags that might indicate I'm doing something wrong as a moderator?
