The new moderator will likely have questions about what to do first, how to manage the server, and what to expect from the other moderators. They may also have concerns about their own role in the server and how to get things done.
The first thing to do is to familiarize yourself with the server's layout and the different sections. The main channels are for general chat, announcements, and moderation. Make sure you know where the different roles are and how to switch between them.
It's also a good idea to review the moderation guidelines, which can be found in the server's rules. These guidelines outline what is and isn't acceptable behavior on the server. Make sure you understand what's expected of you and what you can do to help keep the server safe and friendly for everyone.
You will also be given access to a separate channel for moderators only, where you can ask questions and get help from more experienced moderators. Don't be afraid to use this channel if you need help - we're all here to support each other.
One thing to keep in mind is that we're a small team and we all work together. Be patient with yourself and don't get overwhelmed if you make a mistake or don't know something right away. We're here to help you learn and improve, and we're all in this together.
