The building contest has been a long-standing tradition on Rizzaster, and as such, we've established a set of rules to ensure fairness and fun for all participants. The contest usually occurs on the first Saturday of every month, with the theme announced a week in advance.
To enter, players must create a new build within the designated contest area using only blocks provided by the server. The theme is revealed on the day of the contest, and players have a maximum of three hours to build. Any builds created after the three-hour period will not be eligible for judging. Players are also expected to follow the server's rules and guidelines, as well as any specific rules for the contest theme.
Judging is done by a rotating panel of volunteer moderators, who score builds based on creativity, originality, and overall aesthetic appeal. The top three winners receive prizes, which are currently a set of in-game items and bragging rights. Note that the prizes are subject to change if the server's budget allows it.
As with any server event, there's a risk of abuse or cheating. The moderators will do their best to monitor the contest and intervene if necessary, but players are responsible for reporting any suspicious behavior to the team. It's also worth noting that the building contest is not a guaranteed win, and the judges' decisions are final.
