We have welcomed a new moderator to our team, and we are excited to have their contributions. The onboarding process is now complete, and they are ready to assist in maintaining the quality and safety of our community.
During the onboarding, the new moderator attended a brief introduction session where they were briefed on the server's rules, communication channels, and the roles and responsibilities of a moderator. They also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the server’s current community guidelines and policies. To ensure they are well-prepared for their role, they participated in a real-time role-play exercise with our current moderators, simulating scenarios they might encounter.
Additionally, the new moderator was given access to the necessary tools and resources, including the server management software and the moderation dashboard. They also received a comprehensive handbook that outlines the procedures for handling reported issues, moderating content, and communicating with the community. The handbook is regularly updated, and they will be encouraged to review it and keep themselves updated with any changes.
