We discussed the current implementation of the anti-cheat plugin on our Rizzaster game server. The plugin has been fairly effective in detecting and banning cheaters, but we've noticed an uptick in suspicious activities that are potentially related to new cheat codes or exploits. We agreed to review the plugin’s logs more frequently and consider updating our monitoring system to include more real-time alerts for potential issues.
We're also looking into integrating a player reporting system to streamline the process of flagging suspicious behavior. This would allow our volunteer moderators to address issues more efficiently without having to rely solely on automated systems. One challenge we need to address is how to ensure that the reporting system is user-friendly and that players feel comfortable using it without fear of retaliation.
For the next meeting, we will work on drafting a set of guidelines for our volunteers to follow when dealing with potential cheaters, ensuring consistency in our enforcement and reducing the risk of bias. We need to find a balance between strict policies and fostering a welcoming environment for all players.
