Design Note: Shop and Supporter Benefits

The shop was designed to offer meaningful, visible rewards that reinforce positive behavior and community contribution without creating imbalance. Items are limited to cosmetic and utility perks—custom titles, exclusive hats, and access to special events—that do not affect gameplay mechanics. This keeps the experience fair while still giving supporters a clear sense of recognition.

Supporters receive a consistent set of perks that are both immediate and long-term. These include a permanent supporter title, access to a private chat channel, and one unique item per month. The monthly item rotates and is chosen from a small pool of community-designed assets to maintain freshness and involve members in the creative process.

The decision to keep supporter benefits non-competitive was made after observing that exclusive power advantages led to resentment and reduced participation among non-supporters. By focusing on identity and access rather than gameplay advantages, we’ve seen stronger community cohesion and increased motivation to engage in events and moderation roles.

All shop and supporter systems are managed manually by moderators with clear logs to avoid errors. This ensures transparency and accountability, especially during monthly resets or item updates. The system is intentionally simple so that new moderators can learn it quickly without needing advanced technical knowledge.

The long-term goal is to sustain the server through voluntary support while keeping the environment welcoming for all ages. The shop and supporter benefits serve as a small token of appreciation that helps maintain volunteer morale and encourages ongoing participation without favoring any single user.
