The Rizzaster moderation team has established the following rank requirements and promotion guidelines to ensure the continued safety and enjoyment of our community. These guidelines are subject to change as the community grows and evolves.
The current rank structure consists of three ranks: Newbie, Junior, and Senior. Newbies are the newest members of the community and are expected to follow all rules and guidelines set by the moderators. Juniors are a step up from Newbies and have demonstrated a higher level of maturity and responsibility. Seniors are the most experienced and respected members of the community and serve as role models for the others. To promote from Newbie to Junior, a member must accumulate 50 points from their actions, with 20 of those points coming from completing community events and 30 from demonstrating good sportsmanship in chat. To promote from Junior to Senior, a member must accumulate 100 points, with 40 of those points coming from demonstrating leadership and initiative.
In the past, some issues have arisen regarding the promotion process. One incident in particular stood out: a Junior was removed from Senior rank after consistently violating rules, despite having already accumulated the required points. This incident highlighted the importance of ongoing evaluation and communication between moderators and rank-seekers. To address this issue, the team has decided to increase the number of points required for promotion, as well as implement a system where moderators can remove rank at any time if they feel it is no longer warranted. This will ensure that promotions are more nuanced and take into account not just the number of points earned, but also the individual's behavior and contributions to the community.
In addition to the rank requirements, the team will also consider other factors when evaluating a member's readiness for promotion. These factors include, but are not limited to, attendance at community events, participation in chat, and demonstrated leadership and initiative. The team will strive to communicate clearly and consistently with rank-seekers, providing feedback and support throughout the promotion process.
