The meme channel has become a focal point for the community, and in an effort to maintain a harmonious and family-friendly environment, we've established some guidelines for what is allowed and what is not.
We've decided to err on the side of caution and adopt a fairly strict interpretation of what constitutes acceptable meme content. Memes that are sarcastic, ironic, or poking fun at ourselves or our moderation team are generally okay, as long as they're not mean-spirited or hurtful to others. However, anything that involves making fun of other communities, gaming platforms, or other groups of people is off-limits. We want to avoid any content that could be seen as exclusionary or alienating.
We're also happy to allow memes that are simply silly or absurd, as long as they don't involve profanity, gore, or other content that might make others uncomfortable. We want the meme channel to be a place where people can let loose and have fun, but we also need to ensure that everyone feels welcome and included.
It's worth noting that the moderators have the final say on what's allowed in the meme channel, and we're always happy to engage in a discussion if someone thinks a particular meme is on the border of acceptable or not. However, we expect all users to generally follow these guidelines and respect the boundaries that we've set. By doing so, we can maintain a positive and inclusive community that everyone can be proud of.
