Onboarding a New Moderator for Rizzaster

We met today to discuss the onboarding process for our new moderator, Sarah. We decided that she will be given a trial period of two weeks to acclimate to the server and the roles she will be responsible for. During this time, she will work closely with existing moderators to get a feel for the server’s community guidelines and handling of issues.

Our main goal is to ensure Sarah is well-prepared to handle the responsibilities of a moderator. We plan to provide her with a detailed document outlining the expected behavior, policies, and procedures. Additionally, we will schedule a formal introduction meeting with the entire team to familiarize her with the rest of the moderators and give her a chance to ask any questions.

Open questions we still need to address include the specific training Sarah needs to go through, the initial tasks she will be assigned, and how we can best support her during the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
