We regularly back up the world files to prevent data loss in case of a server crash or other technical issues. These backups are stored on a separate server and are retrieved manually by our moderators on a scheduled basis.
The frequency of these backups is every Friday at 2 AM. During this time, the server will be taken offline for approximately 30 minutes to complete the backup process. This time is scheduled in advance and should not cause any disruption to gameplay.
We also take manual backups of the world files after every major event or update, such as when a new pack is released. These manual backups ensure that all changes made to the world are preserved in case of an issue with the automated backup system.
If you are concerned about data loss, it is recommended to keep a personal backup of your character data, such as your username and any important items. This should be done manually, ideally by saving a copy of the world files on your local computer.
Please note that our moderators do not provide direct backups or restore services for players who have lost data due to a server crash or technical issue.
