Last month, a new player, Alex, got banned from Rizzaster for using inappropriate language during a live game session. The incident occurred during our weekend events, specifically a tournament match where multiple players interacted. Moderators observed the conversation, and Alex's use of profanity violated our code of conduct, leading to a temporary ban.

Since the ban, we've reviewed our process for handling such appeals. We've decided to create a more structured approach to ensure fairness and consistency. Each appeal will be reviewed by at least two moderators, and we'll keep a detailed log of each case. This change will allow us to assess the severity of the infraction and the context of the incident, which is crucial for making informed decisions. Additionally, we've decided to provide a clear explanation to the player, outlining the reasons for the ban and the steps taken to address the issue.
